Pure nature

“This garden, like in paradise…” We hear ecstatic exclamations of happiness like this or something similar when our guests stroll through the garden for the first time.

A day in our little paradise can feel like this:

To greet a sea of daisies in the early morning, which are allowed to grow and multiply naturally. Where should I have my breakfast? Under the mighty chestnut trees or rahter in the sun…? Let your thoughts wander on the sun loungers with views as fas as the eye can see… of mountains, lake and lots of peace and quiet. Where was my travel to-do list again? Not important in these moments – oh, here comes my cappuccino!

In the late afternoon, it’s warm – I look for my spot under the chestnut canopy — wonderful! in 1924, the great-grandfather planted them in order to be able to cool the beer cellar in the Montfort-Schloessle in a natural way. A sip of young wine, a fine antipasti…. I could have sworn I was dreaming.

For us, the garden is: a refuge, a place to live for the soul, the elixir of life for people and animals.

Our task: to let nature do its thing, to contribute something good and to be thankful
